Kandy is 23!
My little sister Kandace turned 23 on August 7th and I wanted to do something special so I threw her a Hollywood themed birthday party. I chose Hollywood, because she will be moving to California at the end of this month. Back to the party. I had a fun time buying decorations. I got litle swirly black things with gold stars and movie reels hanging from the bottom and I got a whole bunch of black and white balloons. I got popcorn holders and was going to put regular butter popcorn in them, but then I thought, this is Hollywood so I made white chocolate popcorn to put in them.

Oh wow a star sighting! It's Steven Segal!

Then Kandace graciously stopped to pose with one of her fans who apparently made it past the fashion police some how. SECURITY!
Kandace also had some guests come down the red carpet for her exclusive birthday.
Then we ate Dad's famous sloppy Joes's, because if that ain't Hollywood then I don't know what is. We also had a giant cookie made and we ate it with ice cream. It was a fabulous event!

Summer Fun
Oh yes! Summer time is the best! That is if you have some source of water near by, otherwise, stay the heck inside.
I got Charlotte her first bathing suit and enjoyed watching her play in the water. Charlotte had a friend over from church. Aurora and her mommy Lindsey came to play in Charlottes new pool. They played with rubber ducky's in the water while the grown ups ate fajitas and lemonade. It was very entertaining for me.

Fourth of July Fun!
For this fourth of July we went to the Woodlands, TX for a very special Kohler family reunion! Me, Charlotte and Paw Paw Kohler went to Texas and stayed one night at Big Brother Mike and Tracy's house. (Jeremy had to stay and work. That's my hard workin' man!) Me, Charlotte, Tracy, Riley and Beau went to the outlet mall on 290 North of Houston. Dad, lil' Mike, and Blake went fishin somewhere. Charlotte had fun playing with her cousin Riley and her dollhouse and her toys!

Then back to the hotel for a quick little nap. Who got a nap? I don't know but it wasn't me.
Unfortunelatly my camera battery went dead and did not photograph the rest of the day. I will be waiting for my relatives pictures and I will post the matching outfits later. so

Im not a consistent blogger and Im sorry if it irritates you
Oh my time does fly when you are doing nothing, but everything. I wake up and take care of Charlotte all day long. Jeremy thinks I give her to much attention and that I spoil her........maybe I do and maybe I DO. It's hard to find time to get on the computer and blog when I only have a few minutes at time to do so. In my spare time, I do a little laundry, a little dishes, maybe some cooking, throwing out clothes and shoes from my closet(although it never seems to make a difference) and watching the noggin channel with Charlotte. Charlotte got her first swing and loves it! She got her first pool today but it's so hot we don't want to go outside it's an Arizona worthy 95 degrees. Charlotte has 4 teeth and can say mama now.(but only when she wants to)
Charlotte also likes to check her e-mail, (whether we want her to or not)
Jeremy graduated from Sowela Technical College on May 19th, in Process Technology. He graduated with distinction which means he had a GPA of 3.5. I'm so proud especially because he went to school full time, worked to provide for our family, took care of me during pregnancy, then took care of me when Charlotte was just born. I was blessed to have him with me so much. His last semester, he had an internship, and also I was not working, so he had to work a little more. He is my Hero! I am so proud of his accomplishment! Now we are waiting for that perfect job! Well, any job! The Economy will hopefully get better soon.

Opening day
Monday April 6th was Jeremy's Birthday! We were invited by our good friends Zach and Kristin to Opening day for the Astros at Minute Maid park in Houston. We love going to see the Astros. We decided to bring Charlotte who also turned 6 months old on her Daddy's birthday. We thought she would enjoy all the exciting lights and sounds and people. When we arrived and got to our seats very close to the third baseline. Charlotte was looking around and but also seemed like she was overwhelmed, but content. When the Astros took the field, everybody cheered, but Charlotte curled out her bottom lip and burst into tears. She did not like the loud noise. So we tried to cover her ears alot, which seemed to help and then I gave her a bottle and she fell asleep for awhile. I was still trying to keep her ears covered so the crowd wouldn't wake her up. She lasted for 7 innings and the during the 7th inning stretch the music woke her up and we decided we should leave. I felt horrible for keeping there, but after she would cry a little bit, she would seem ok. Mommy and Daddy felt bad, so we left. We were also so sorry to leave Kristin and Zach behind, but I think they understood. Charlotte was fussy on the ride home, but we were all happy again when we got home. Daddy hooked up his Blu ray player the me and Charlotte got him for his Birthday and we all hung out on the couch. It was the perfect ending to an exciting day.
